A gaggle of municipal and personal stakeholders on Thursday inaugurated a 2.55-MWp distributed technology (DG) photo voltaic plant in Manaus, the capital of the Brazilian state of Amazonas.
The venture is the results of a partnership between the Manaus Metropolis Corridor, native water and sewerage utility Aguas de Manaus, photo voltaic developer Experience Energia and Brasol, a photo voltaic DG agency that’s a part of German industrial group Siemens AG (ETR:SIE).
The brand new plant is the biggest of its sort in the entire of Brazil’s North area, the Manaus Metropolis Corridor stated. It’s unfold over a 20,000-sq-m (215,278 sq ft ) space, consisting of eight inverters and 4,960 photo voltaic panels able to producing 3.7 GWh per 12 months, town stated.
Initially, the DG system will provide energy for 55 operational models of Aguas de Manaus.
