The share of non-conventional renewables in Chile’s electricity production was 41.0% in November, the same as in October, according to the latest figures released by the Chilean national energy commission (CNE).
Power plants using non-conventional renewable sources generated 2,733 GWh gross of electricity in November, down by 3.2% month-on-month. In annual terms, the renewables output rose by 12.9%.
At 3,925 GWh gross, power production from conventional sources was lower by 3.3% compared to October and by 10.1% compared to November 2022.
