UK flexible energy producer Conrad Energy said on Wednesday that it has acquired the 10-MW Port of Liverpool Wind Farm, its first wind power asset.

The wind farm consists of four Nordex N90 2.5MW turbines installed along Alexandra, Canada and Huskisson docks at the Port of Liverpool. The turbines have been in operation since 2009.

“Our footprint in the North West of England already comprises flexible generation and battery storage, and this wind farm is an extension of our commitment to the region,” said CEO Steven Hardman. “With battery, hydrogen and solar forming part of our portfolio and with a strong 2GW development and construction pipeline, adding wind power was a natural next step.”
