Enfinity International Inc has wrapped up the acquisition of a 400-MW portfolio of PPA-backed photo voltaic parks within the US from Swiss asset supervisor Capital Dynamics, the renewable power and sustainability companies firm stated on Tuesday.

The worth of the transaction, initially agreed final September, was not disclosed

The deal has made Enfinity the proprietor of 28 utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) crops situated throughout the states of California, North Carolina and Idaho. All crops have energy buy agreements (PPAs) in place with investment-grade utilities and generate recurrent earnings earlier than curiosity, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of round USD 45 million (EUR 42m) yearly.

The photo voltaic farms have been commissioned inside the final 5 years. Their mixed output of 1,175 GWh per yr is the same as the electrical energy demand of as much as 64,000 US properties.

The property will add to Enfinity’s over 7-GW international portfolio of initiatives which have already been commissioned or are nonetheless beneath growth and development. The corporate has funded the acquisition with debt from Nomura, Bayerische Landesbank, Commonwealth Financial institution of Australia, Fifth Third Financial institution and Zions Bancorporation NA.

“We will continue to expand our presence in the US market by executing our 1.6 GW proprietary pipeline of projects and pursuing further investment opportunities both in M&A transactions and agreements with renewable energy developers,” said Ricardo Díaz, CEO Americas of Enfinity Global.
