Obituary of Joseph John Bellante, Sr.
Joseph John Bellante, Jr., age 90, of Mesa, died Monday, Jan. 16, at Brookdale Senior Residing Middle in Tempe. Born on Sept. 28, 1932, in Chicago, Ailing., he was the son of the late Joseph and Ann Bellante. He was a graduate of Inglewood Excessive College. He lived in Canoga Park, California, earlier than transferring to Mesa the place he lived for greater than 40 years.
All through his life, he served as a Boy Scouts of America chief, loved woodworking, and in his later years, he cherished making jam to share with household and associates. One in every of his favourite actions was to go to with the neighborhood canine and distribute treats, which earned him the nickname of the Dogfather.
He served within the U.S. Air Pressure and was a Korean Battle veteran.
He married the love of his life and his highschool sweetheart, Frances (Fran) Ann Halsey, who proceeded him in loss of life. Collectively they loved sq. dancing and touring of their motorhome. Joe is survived by his sons Jerry, Michael, and Robert; 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Along with his mother and father and spouse, he was preceded in loss of life by his brother, Artwork Bellante.
A Celebration of Life service was held at Reward and Worship Middle in Chandler on Jan. 27 and a non-public graveside burial service will likely be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Mesa, Arizona. Legacy Funeral Residence in Chandler offered funeral companies.
