Mooreast Holdings Ltd (SGX:1V3) will collaborate with Scottish not-for-profit firm ETZ Ltd to review organising a manufacturing unit in Aberdeen for the manufacturing of subsea foundations and the consolidation and meeting of mooring elements for the floating offshore renewables sector.
The Singaporean mooring programs supplier and ETZ signed a collaboration settlement in Singapore within the presence of Scotland’s Minister for Enterprise, Commerce, Tourism and Enterprise Ivan McKee, Mooreast stated this week.
The corporate is seeking to set up a facility in Aberdeen that’s greater than double the ground area and output of its Singapore facility at 51 Shipyard Highway. Mooreast additionally fashioned a UK subsidiary in July 2022 because it goals to focus on the rising variety of offshore wind tasks in Europe.
