Swedish renewables developer-operator OX2 AB (STO:OX2) mentioned on Thursday that it’s going to present full-service asset administration for a 101-MW wind farm in Sweden on behalf of its proprietor, Eire-based investor Greencoat Renewables Plc (LON:GRP).
The job will entail the availability of technical, industrial and monetary administration of the Erstrask South wind farm in the long run. The wind farm is provided with 36 Enercon generators which have been spinning since 2021.
OX2 may even assist Greencoat sooner or later take-over of one other wind farm, which is at present beneath development. The Swedish agency may even present full scope asset administration providers for that wind farm as soon as it turns into operational, it mentioned.
With the newest contract, OX2 could have near 500 MW of Enercon’s wind generators within the space in its administration portfolio.
Greencoat purchased the Erstrask South wind farm from German turbine maker Enercon Gmbh in 2021. It later went on to purchase Erstrask North, which was beneath development on the time of the acquisition in mid-2022.
