RenewableUK has elected 11 new representatives to serve on its Shadow Board from 2024 into 2025.
The Shadow Board is made up of rising stars in the clean energy sector, to provide a greater range of views on key issues to the organisation’s main Board.
The appointees were carefully selected to ensure gender balance as well as full representation from nations and regions across the UK, onshore wind and offshore wind technologies, as well as supply chain companies and developers.
After nearly 100 submissions, the current Shadow Board whittled the initial applicants down to 30, then a smaller internal working group sifted this down to a further 15, and our Executive Leadership Team decided on the final 11 successful candidates:
Aamir Shahzad, Global Head of Electrical Operations at Vestas.
Anne-Charlotte Gaillard, Project Manager Offshore Developments at SSE Renewables.
Arfon Edwards, Onshore Wind Developer, RWE Renewables UK
Chris Fox, Head of Policy – UK Renewables, Equinor
Emma Waterhouse, Legal Counsel, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy
Hassan Asheg, Business Development Director, Royal HaskoningDHV
Jay Medina, Commercial Manager, Associated British Ports
Lynne McIntosh-Grieve, Programme Manager, Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult / OWGP
Nicola Harris, Associate Director- Environmental Services, Seiche Ltd
Victoria Sinclair, Head of Supply Chain Development, Copenhagen Offshore Partners (Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners)
William Maidment, Regulatory Engagement Manager, Ventient Energy
RenewableUK’s Commercial Director Vicky Mant welcomed the results, saying: “We are delighted to announce our new cohort of Shadow Board members, bringing a diverse mix of professional experience, fresh ideas and talent from innovative companies across the sector.
