Robert (Bob) Horvath died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at his residence with household by his aspect. He was 78 years previous.
Bob was born January 22, 1945, in Moline, IL, to Peter J. Horvath and Opal E. Doeling. He and his 4 brothers have been raised in Fargo, ND, by his mom. He served within the U.S. Navy throughout the Vietnam Conflict and was a consummate patriot. Bob labored arduous all through his life from varied bodily labor jobs to North Dakota Security Inspector, Supervisor of TCI Cable Firm, and a Property Supervisor. As a property supervisor he was a robust advocate for tenant rights.
Bob and Cathy have been married in Fargo, ND, and settled in Minot, ND. Each retired in 2014 and moved to Faribault, MN, to be nearer to household, and have been members of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. They loved over 50 years of marriage usually discovering that laughter was the most effective medication. Many summers they traveled to Emerald Isle, NC, for seaside time with Cathy’s sister Cheryl and all her household. They took many tenting journeys of their motorhome (aka “the hut”). Bob cherished animals, particularly his Saint Bernard, Brandy. Bob and Cathy fostered many canine by Rescue 55021. Bob cherished historical past and will debate information with anybody. He was a devoted longtime Vikings fan and cherished to golf.
Bob is survived by his spouse, Cathy; their daughter, Stefanie Horvath (Christy); 5 youngsters from his first marriage, Sharyl (Tim) Meredith, Robert (Christine) Horvath Jr., Brad (Linda) Horvath, Brent (Shawna) Horvath, and Brian (Gigi) Horvath; brother, Ron (Kathy) Horvath; many grandchildren, nice grandchildren, nieces, nephews and different family members and mates.
He was preceded in demise by his mom, father, and three brothers.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial shall be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. on the Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 139 Mercy Drive, Faribault, adopted by army honors supplied by the Rice County Central Veterans Affiliation.
