Spanish integrated solar PV platform Enerside Energy SA (BME:ENRS) said on Wednesday that it has agreed to sell a distributed generation (DG) solar farm in Brazil to Suno Asset, an investment fund manager, for over EUR 3 million (USD 3.3m).
The Itabira solar farm, with a capacity of 3.1 MWp, is operational. It generates electricity under a ten-year power purchase agreement (PPA) indexed to inflation with an unnamed energy trader in Brazil.
The project was fully developed and built by Enerside using its own funds, the firm said, adding that it has other DG schemes and opportunities in the pipeline that are expected to reach ready-to-build status in 2024 and 2025.
The sale marks the first step in Enerside’s asset rotation plan, announced in October 2023, which has already produced binding offers and advanced transactions that could generate proceeds exceeding EUR 50 million as they are executed in the coming months.
