Last year, Tesla introduced the Quicksilver and Midnight Cherry Red to its European models, but they never reached US customers. Now Tesla is rolling out its Stealth Grey and Ultra Red colors to its Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in the US.

These colors have been around in the Tesla configurator for the Model S and Model X. They are also quite similar to the European Midnight Cherry Red and Quicksilver paint jobs and are pretty close to the older Midnight Silver and Multi-Coat Red, which explains why they are being replaced. You can no longer select Midnight Silver and Multi-Coat Red colorways on the Model 3 and Y configurators in the US.

The Stealth Grey color is now the default option and doesn’t add to the overall cost, but the Ultra Red asks £1,600.

The new paint jobs are now available in addition to the Pearl White Multi-Coat, Deep Blue Metallic and the Solid Black.
