Jeep is once again teasing the upcoming Wagoneer S EV, which we’ve seen before – way back in October of 2022, actually. Back then, the company said the “S” stands for “speed”, and today it’s back to prove that point.

The Wagoneer S will only be offered as a pure all-electric EV, and it will do 0 to 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds, Jeep says, “driven by aerodynamic efficiency”. It will develop 600 hp to achieve that feat.

The Wagoneer S will be sold in the US in the fall of this year, and then “in key markets around the world” at a later point, according to Jeep. It is, thus, closer than ever. It will have “standard 4xe capability” (where “e” stands for electric, we assume), with all-terrain management, “advanced Jeep brand-focused technology” (whatever that means), and a sleek exterior design. Speaking of which, here’s the teaser image of the front, which Jeep released today:

That definitely looks like a Jeep, but while the grille is instantly recognizable, it also seems to have been modernized and LED-ified. The Wagoneer S will be part of Jeep’s quest to electrify its range and transform “4xe into the new 4×4” without losing any of the brand’s strong identity in the process. That’s definitely a dual-motor setup right there, then.

Expect more teasers to drop over the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned for those.
