Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Methods A/S (CPH:VWS) stated on Friday that it’ll provide its {hardware} for a 68-MW challenge in Estonia.
Dirkshof Estonia OU, a neighborhood unit of German wind vitality specialist Dirkshof, positioned an order for 15 models of the Vestas V150-4.5 MW generators. The machines shall be used for the Aidu wind farm challenge in Ida-Viru County, north-east Estonia.
Vestas will provide, set up and fee the generators, and monitor the wind farm underneath the 20-year Lively Output Administration 5000 (AOM 5000) service settlement.
The corporate expects to start supply and turbine set up within the third quarter of 2023. Commissioning is scheduled for the primary quarter of 2024, Vestas stated.
