Vestas has received a firm order from ERG SpA for the 47MW Corlacky Hill onshore wind project in Northern Ireland.

The contract consists of 11 V117-4.2MW wind turbines in 4.3MW operating mode, and includes supply, delivery, and commissioning of the hardware.

Upon completion, Vestas will service the units under a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement.

“I am thrilled that we have secured Corlacky Hill, which will become an important contributor to Northern Ireland’s energy transition,” said director sales UK at Vestas James Ian Robinson.

“Our thanks go to ERG for their trust in our technology, and we are now looking forward to start working on the project.”

Turbine delivery is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2025 with commissioning scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2025.
