France-based energy engineering and advisory company DORIS has been awarded a five-year master services framework agreement by Equinor ASA (NYSE:EQNR) to provide the Norwegian energy company with owner’s engineering services.
The deal concerns offshore wind and low-carbon projects across Equinor’s project portfolio. DORIS will provide services across three main areas: supply of personnel through secondments; completion of studies, reviews and verifications; and completion of engineering scopes such as design and detailed engineering, procurement and project management.
The French company said it will use its owner’s engineering experience of over 6 GW, encompassing projects in the UK, South Korea and the US, to provide support for Equinor’s fixed and floating offshore wind projects.
Equinor aims to reach 12 GW-16 GW of installed renewables capacity by 2030.
