EDF Renewables Eire, a part of Electricite de France SA (EPA:EDF), is getting ready to file a planning utility for its proposed Kilsallagh wind farm, which could have 13 generators and a complete capability of about 80 MW.
The corporate stated as we speak that it’s going to maintain a public exhibition for the mission later this month. After session with the area people, the developer plans to submit a planning utility and the mission environmental impression evaluation (EIA) report back to An Bord Pleanala within the second quarter of 2023.
The mission, which features a substation and a battery, is positioned in a forested space close to Slieve Carr in County Mayo. If planning permission is granted, the wind farm might come on-line in 2028.
When the mission was unveiled in 2021, the plans have been for a 100-MW improvement.
