Swedish wind project developer Eolus Vind AB (STO:EOLU-B) said on Friday that it has completed and handed over three wind farms with a combined capacity of 125 MW to their owner, Swiss energy company BKW AG (SWX:BKW).
The wind parks in question are Skallberget/Utterberget, Tjarnas, and Rosenskog, located in Avesta, Hedemora, and Falkoping municipalities, respectively, within price area SE3 in Southern Sweden. They are made up of a total of 19 turbines.
According to Eolus CEO Per Witalisson, the projects were handed over to BKW on time and within budget and the two parties will now cooperate in the operational phase, as well.
BKW bought the projects from the developer in June 2023. Without disclosing its name, Eolus said that the output of the wind farms will be purchased by “a major global energy company.”
